Retirement

Just before Morris and I left for Utah I retired. We went out to dinner to celebrate. Morris said it was funny we were spending money to celebrate me not making any more money.

I was working as a nanny for the last 6 months for a baby boy (a little hands on training) but now I am looking forward to spending my days with my baby boy. Just under 10 weeks from now!

Wow I must have had shaky hand when I took that picture. Sorry it is blurry. I am glad you retired and I am glad we celebrated it!!

The work is actually just about to begin my friend. But the best work you will ever do!

So great to see you blogging again! Looks like 2009 treated you well. I can't believe you did so many fun things and went so many great places! Good for you.
I am SO excited about your baby boy! Brian always likes to say that I retired when Libby was born, but to say my work just started then would be the understatement of the century. Good thing she's such a good little girl! (And Reeve, too.) Motherhood is crazy hard but wonderful. Good luck with the next 10 weeks! (And don't forget we'll need lots of baby updates and pictures, so no more extended blogging breaks, okay?? =)
