"Student of the Year"

This afternoon Morris and I went to a luncheon in Anaheim for the Pierre Fauchard Academy. The PFA is a worldwide dental organization that recognizes outstanding leaders in the dental profession. The PFA awards a scholarship to one student from each dental school in the nation. Last week Morris was told he had been chosen as the "Student of the Year" for 2007 from UCLA. This weekend the California Dental Association (CDA) was held in Anaheim and they had a luncheon to honor the recipients of the scholarship from Southern California. We sat next to some interesting people and they were giving Morris some helpful info. for his upcoming residency interviews. It was a great afternoon--good food, great tips, and a little bit of green in our pocket. Congratulations Morris! You earned it.
